There is a point it changes from a percent measurement to a ratio when measuring slopes. This value is in the Project settings and can be changed to something bigger to keep the results as a percentage.
Open the Project settings (COG in Quick access toolbar)
Go to Units – Vertical Angle
Change the Percent to Ratio value to something higher (500% higher if needed)
