- E57, LAZ, LAS, RCP, PTS.
- 3D PDF and CAD formats (DWG, DXF) are not recommended to be used to export point clouds.
- Not all formats support Structured scans (See below)
- Not all formats support Classified Regions (See below)
- Unstructured Scan:
- All points are exported in a single cloud
- Just the point cloud
- No station information is exported
- Structured/Gridded Scan (E57 and RCP):
- All points are exported with a relationship to their stations
- Station information can be determined
- Not all exports need to be structured
- Exporting Classified Regions:
- Classified Regions are only supported in the LAS or LAZ format
- A consideration here is that these formats are not structured exports
